Meridian entrance to Selmon Expressway Reversible Express Lanes to be closed tonight

2/20/2013 - Selmon Expressway Bridge Deck Replacement & Widening from west of Morgan Street to 19th Street

TAMPA -- The Selmon Expressway (SR 618) Reversible Express Lanes (REL) entrance at Meridian Avenue will be closed from 8:00 p.m. Wednesday (February 20) to 1:30 p.m. Thursday (February 21). The REL (which is for traffic only in the eastbound direction at night and weekends) will be closed from the entrance at Meridian Avenue to the slip ramp just east of 34th Street.

DETOUR FOR REVERSIBLE EXPRESS LANES: The first opportunity for eastbound drivers to enter the REL from the local lanes (lower level) of the Selmon Expressway will be at the slip ramp located just east of 34th Street.

Drivers will still be able to exit to Meridian Avenue from the westbound REL as normal from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
