What is that? (August 2006)

Many have asked what the structure in the middle of the photo is. The answer? It is a bridge for the Approach Lighting System for a runway at Tampa International Airport. Lights have been mounted on the structure to help guide aircraft. The structure spans all the travel lanes and ramps in this area of State Road 60.
